Ben is the third of 6 children born to Steve and Jeanne Langhofer in Wichita, KS.
While Ben was growing up, Wichita, KS was known as The Abortion Capital of the World.
Wanting to offer a haven of hope to distressed birth moms, Ben's parents founded The Pregnancy Crisis Center (Now known as Embrace) in 1985.
Embrace is now the largest Pregnancy Resource Center of it's kind in the midwest.
In 2003 Ben learned he'd been born with a chromosomal variation known as 47XXY (Klinefelter's Syndrome) which causes sterility.
Ben and his wife wasted no time and adopted their first, Noah Benjamin in 2004.
By 2008, they'd been privileged to adopt Elizabeth Grace and Isaac Rome.
By 2011, Ben faced the unfortunate circumstance of becoming a single dad.
Through his experiences as a single dad he developed a love for the mothers that faced the painful decision of placing their children in adoption.
Ben is the Founder & CEO of Family Handbook (www.myfamilyhandbook.com), an organization dedicated to creating simple online digital tools to help moms and dads create their own customized Family Handbooks. Ben is also an avid writer and gains most of his inspiration from being a dad.
